Downgrading Firefox
Recently upgraded from Firefox 2.x to 3.5.2 because I was getting hang issues especially when I started up and when trying to go to Yahoo Mail. I was thinking it was because Yahoo Mail tried to integrate Yahoo Messenger into their website, but I wasn't sure so I tried the upgrade. Well, that was a bad choice. None of the symptoms fixed themselves, and I even started getting a "A script on this page has been stopped due to a low memory condition" message when I had only been running a few pages. Looks like others have gotten this problem and downgraded to 3.0.13 or so, which is what I am trying now. Hopefully that'll fix some of the problems.
On a tech related note, I'm trying to pull the trigger on buying a new laptop. Thinkpad X200. Faster, lighter, wider, brighter, longer lasting, and cooler laptop. But since my current laptop still works, I have a hard time justifying it no matter how good of a deal it is. =/
