Lefty power

It's been a while since I've posted any bowling information. It's been a while since I've bowled well.

However, these days, my average has creeped above 160...though I think it should drop since I've been rather erratic.

Yesterday, I had the time to try out some lefty action. Half a year ago, I was working on my lefty hook. Unfortunately, this time, I didn't have a ball to hook with, as the house balls have hole placements and sizes that are not ideal. So I went back to the run and drop method.
A bunch of strikes later, and I had broken my all time lefty high. 166! Beats my righty average.

I then followed that up with a 139. My first 300 two game series!

Lefty bowling right now is all about repeating the same motions...which mainly consist of me running. Heh

Korea House...where you randomly run into friends

Do you have a place where, whenever you go, you always seem to run into someone you know? For me, that place seems to be Korea House.

I've run into a whole slew of unexpected acquaintances whenever I go there for dinner, it seems. Tonight was no exception, running into a graceful EW, who I haven't seen since my Twain days.

It was kinda funny. I walked into Korea House with JC. Turned right towards our table, and there sitting on the far wall facing the entrance was someone that looked mighty like EW. But since it'd been 11 years, I wasn't positive. And so I stared. She looked up, as anyone would if they see movement out of their peripheral vision, but didn't seem to give any indication of recognition. I was a little disappointed that it might not be EW, but I decided to risk breaking social etiquette, by giving just another long second to my stare. That seemed to do the trick as recognition crossed her eyes and I knew it was EW.

White Gummi Bear Jamba Juice?

Whoa! Did you know there was a secret menu of Jamba Juice smoothies?

Here's the aforementioned, White Gummi Bear

There's a list on the right that shows other flavors. Also, not listed, there may be a Rainbow Sherbert. Not sure what the recipe for Rainbow Sherbert is but I remember when I ordered a Peach Pleasure with half Peach Juice/half Raspberry Juice, it sure did taste like Rainbow Sherbert (thanks JY!)

Some of these flavors are in the cash register, others are not. You can however substitute ingredients to your heart's content to get what you want. I think I'll have to try this out next time.

It's Monopoly time

McDonalds Monopoly has started again. The vendor linked this year is Footlocker. Not as intriguing as BestBuy was, so I might not be going as much, heh.
