Sports coming to me!

Exciting news from a South Bay sports loving resident standpoint.

The A's have come to an agreement with Cisco to use their undeveloped Fremont land for a new ballpark. That's only about 13 miles away from where I live. Unfortunately this is not til 2011 at the earliest, so who knows where I will be living, but if I'm still relatively near where I am now, then the draw of partial season tickets will be great.

It's not just the A's that are moving, but also it sounds like the 49ers may also be moving. Into Santa Clara, right in my backyard. This would play perfectly into my crazy "football season ticket investment plan." I'm guessing this will be another 2010 type deal.
