Shaken, not stirred


Have you ever found yourself shaking your OJ, only to have someone (WS) point out that your OJ is Pulp Free, so why the heck would you stir?

Well, apparently, there's more to OJ than pulp.

Take a look at the attached picture.

Shake for that Fresh Squeeze taste! Yeah, that's right WS. You've been missing out on some good taste.

As the "why shake the no pulp OJ" tirade provided earlier, I must rant about this.

What are you shaking up???? Flavor crystals? Is it diet OJ with "exercise" built into it? The pulp that fell into the "no pulp" OJ?

Me thinks there is a whole marketing department that is of similar logic at the OJ company.

when you squeeze an orange, the resulting juice is foamy.

when you shake the carton the resulting juice is foamy.

Thus, by all logical reasoning, the "taste" of carton OJ is more like fresh squeezed when you shake it, if you first assume that the texture influences the taste.
